Denis Simonet writes of the Pirate Party:
Are you a gamer? Then defend yourself against it, than to be called Killer. Become involved in the petition now Pro Youth culture!
policy can be operated in two ways. The first type is rational, by representing principles of morality, which is in the discourse to explain why the Society is happier if you follow them. Simonet would then say (it does not): "politicians, and not society as a whole, have no moral right to dictate other people's children, what books they read, what they watch cartoons, and even what games they play .
He could argue with the fact that there is no scientific consensus that harm anybody killer games, and that we ban anything that does not harm anyone, according to scientific consensus.
The second way of doing politics is group combat. You look around you and wonder what they do not one. Then considered to be of those articles, maybe if half the population shares the aversion. And if so, then you ban the other half, which is always a just occurred.
The fathers of the U.S. constitution had a word for the second category, they called it the "tyranny of the majority". The word for a community that is as individuals instead of freedom, where there is none of the others, they called the "Republic".
Needless to say, I prefer moral discourse.
